I believe men today must put aside these differences, not only for our sakes, but for the sake of the women and children in our lives.

We must be real.

It is time to throw away the play things of the past i.e., the carousing, character assassinations, drugs, abusing women, etc. Now is the time for adult behavior.

Now is the time to be responsible, civilized people who want to make a positive impact on our communities. And I don't mean playing around at being men.

Lets get real.

We must show intelligence but not be smart-alecky. We must display confidence, but not be cocky. We must empower ourselves, but not crush those weaker than us in the process.

I say to you men out there, "Think!" Question the status quo. Seek out experiences that will help you grow as a person. Explore new ideas and cultivate the creativity that lies within you.

Look beyond yourselves to what lies ahead. The future is ours to make, whether for the good or the bad. Anyone can complain, but few find the inspiration (or time) to do anything about it.

The world is filled with the tossed away lives of men who never even tried to reach their full potential. Like leaves at the mercy of the wind, they have become the ghosts of what once was.

This should not be, my brothers. This should not be. Slaves to the mind should yearn to be free. Don't give up to adversity or pain. Realize that with sunny days there will be some thunder and rain.
